Hi, I'm Urban!
I’ve always had a fascination for games and playable spaces. Already as a kid I drew a (surprisingly accurate) map of my home with all possible hiding spots. In 2018, I started to dedicate evenings and weekends creating maps for StarCraft II. A couple years later I had completed a Master of Arts in Primary Education, but my success as a mapper eventually prompted a career shift once I realized I was good at my passion.
This brought me to The Game Assembly, which has to be one of my life's best decisions. I've made amazing new friends, and continue to learn and improve on my skills. Most recently, I interned at Infinite Mana Games as a Level Designer and Level Artist.
As a designer, I love when things feel cohesive so I take a holistic approach to level design and want to make levels that not only play well but also look great. I'm always up for feedback sessions, and I'm not afraid to share insights or ask the tough questions to ensure design choices align with project goals.
Thank you for taking the time to check out my portfolio. If you believe I can contribute to your team, I'd love to hear from you!
I am part of The Game Assembly’s internship program. As per the agreement between the Games Industry and The Game Assembly, neither student nor company may be in contact with one another regarding internships before April 23rd. Any internship offers can be made on May 6th, at the earliest.
